Cutting and pasting images in PSP.

The Quick Answer- As you can see from the image above, using standard windows Cntl-X,C,V isn't going to work in PSP unless you want a new window for each image you paste. In PSP, the short cuts are:

Paste as New Image Ctrl+V which places the clipbloard into a new window image.

Paste as New Layer Ctrl+L Places clipboard into a new layer of the selected image.

Paste as New Selection Ctrl+E Which places the clipboard into the current image, current Layer. You may position the image with the mouse to get into the general area, then Left click to drop the image. Now position using Ctrl-arrows to step one pixel in the direction of the arrow.
